BuyerCentre

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 October 2026

BuyerCentre is operated by BuyerCentre (“we”, “us” or “our”).

This policy explains how we collect, use, store and share personal information when you use buyercentre.com.au, create an account, submit an enquiry or contact us.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use BuyerCentre, we may collect:

  • Your name, email address and telephone number.
  • Account details and profile information.
  • Business details if you list properties or create a business profile.
  • Property preferences, preferred locations, budget and buying requirements you choose to provide.
  • Property listings, documents and other information you upload.
  • Enquiries, feedback and correspondence.
  • Technical information such as your IP address, browser, device and website activity.

We generally collect information directly from you through forms, account registration, uploads and communications. Some technical information may be collected automatically.

You can browse public listings without creating an account. Certain services require personal information so we can provide them.

How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Create and manage accounts.
  • Display and manage property listings and business profiles.
  • Process enquiries and connect you with the relevant property provider.
  • Understand your buying requirements and respond to requests.
  • Send account, service and enquiry updates.
  • Maintain, secure and improve the website.
  • Send marketing communications where you have consented or where otherwise permitted by law.
  • Meet legal obligations and address misuse of the platform.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. Essential account and service messages may still be sent.

When we share information

When you enquire about a property, we share your contact details and enquiry with the builder, developer, agent or business responsible for that listing so they can respond.

We may also share information with service providers that help us operate BuyerCentre, including website hosting, data storage, email delivery and technical support providers.

Information may be disclosed where required or authorised by law, or where reasonably necessary to protect our users, systems or legal rights.

Information you submit for publication, such as a business profile, listing or public contact details, will be visible to website visitors. Please avoid including private information in public content.

Businesses receiving your enquiry handle that information under their own privacy policies.

Connected services: Google Sheets

Access and permissions

Connecting Google is optional. Builders and administrators choose whether to connect their Google account, and can stop at any time.

When you connect, BuyerCentre requests read-only access to Google Sheets. This permission allows the application to view spreadsheets that the connected Google account can access, but BuyerCentre only ever reads the specific spreadsheets you explicitly connect by pasting their link. BuyerCentre cannot and does not edit or delete your spreadsheets.

For each connected spreadsheet, we access the spreadsheet name, the names and identifiers of its worksheets (tabs), the column headings of the worksheet you select, and the listing values in its rows — such as titles, prices, locations and any other columns you choose to map.

Purpose

Information read from a connected spreadsheet is used to match spreadsheet columns to listing fields, import property listings, and keep linked listings up to date through scheduled (hourly) or manual syncing.

An administrator can also connect a spreadsheet on behalf of an assigned builder, so that builder’s listings stay updated.

New spreadsheet rows are always imported as private drafts. Updates to listings that are already published may become publicly visible on the website.

Storage and sharing

We store the listing information imported from your spreadsheet, your saved column and value mappings, connection details (the spreadsheet and worksheet names and identifiers, the assigned builder and the connection status), and a history of each sync run, including its results and any row errors.

Your Google sign-in and authorisation are handled by Lovable’s connector gateway, a service provider that operates the secure connection between BuyerCentre and Google. Your Google access credentials are held and renewed by that gateway, not by BuyerCentre. BuyerCentre stores only an encrypted connection key that allows our servers to read your connected spreadsheet on your behalf.

Connecting a spreadsheet does not make the spreadsheet public. Only listing content you publish is visible to website visitors. Draft listings, private notes, your connection details and credentials are restricted and are not shown publicly.

Besides Lovable’s connector gateway, the service providers described in “When we share information” may process imported data as part of hosting, storing and operating the website. They do not receive access to your Google account.

Disconnecting and deletion

You can disconnect an individual spreadsheet from your BuyerCentre dashboard. This stops syncing for that spreadsheet, removes the connection record and its links to your listings, and makes any fields it managed editable again. Your listings are kept.

You can also disconnect your Google account entirely. This revokes BuyerCentre’s access through the connector gateway, deletes the encrypted connection key we hold, and pauses all of your spreadsheet connections until you reconnect. Your listings are kept.

You can additionally revoke BuyerCentre’s access at any time from your Google Account under “Your connections to third-party apps & services” (myaccount.google.com/connections). Stopping access prevents future reads of your spreadsheets; it does not automatically delete listings that were previously imported.

To request deletion of previously imported listings or other retained data, contact us at support@buyercentre.com.au.

Google data use

BuyerCentre’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Information obtained through Google Sheets is used only to provide the listing import and syncing features described above. We do not sell Google user data, do not use it for advertising, and do not use it to train artificial intelligence models or for any other unrelated purpose.

Cookies and website activity

BuyerCentre uses a small number of functional cookies and browser storage to keep the website working — for example, to keep you signed in and to remember display preferences. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect website features, including staying signed in.

Storage and security

We store personal information electronically and take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure.

No online service can guarantee complete security.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably needed to provide our services and meet legal obligations. When it is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete it or remove identifying details.

Overseas service providers

Some of the technology providers that help us operate BuyerCentre may store or process personal information outside Australia.

Where overseas providers are used, we take reasonable steps to protect personal information in accordance with applicable privacy obligations.

Access, correction and deletion

You can contact us to request access to the personal information we hold about you, correct inaccurate details or request deletion of your account and personal information.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Some information may need to be retained for legal or record-keeping purposes. If we cannot fulfil a request, we will explain why.
