Terms of Service

Last updated: 4 October 2026

These terms govern your use of buyercentre.com.au, including property listings, business profiles, accounts and enquiry services. Please read them before using the platform. When you create an account or submit content, you will be asked to accept these terms.

1. About BuyerCentre

BuyerCentre is an online platform where buyers can browse property opportunities and connect with builders, developers, agents and other property providers.

Unless separately agreed in writing, BuyerCentre is not acting as your real estate agent, buyer’s agent, builder, financial adviser or legal adviser. We are not a party to any property purchase or building contract you enter into through an introduction made on the platform.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you act for a business, you must have authority to do so.

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate account information and keeping it current.
  • Keeping your login details secure.
  • Ensuring anyone you authorise to use your account follows these terms.
  • Letting us know promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

You may request account closure by contacting us.

3. Property information

Property information is generally supplied by the business responsible for the listing. We do not independently verify every listing or business profile.

Prices, availability, plans, dimensions, inclusions, title status and completion dates may change. Images may include artist’s impressions, display homes, optional upgrades or features that are not included in the advertised price.

Before making a decision, confirm the relevant details directly with the property provider. This includes:

  • Current availability and the total price.
  • Inclusions, exclusions and additional costs.
  • Land and building dimensions.
  • Approvals, title registration and construction status.
  • Contract structure, payment requirements and expected timing.

A listing or enquiry does not reserve a property or create a purchase agreement. Any transaction is subject to the relevant parties agreeing to its terms.

4. Your property decisions

Website content is general information. It does not take account of your personal circumstances and is not legal, financial, tax or investment advice.

You should make your own enquiries and obtain appropriate professional advice before signing a contract or paying money.

A listing or business profile appearing on BuyerCentre does not, by itself, mean we endorse that business or guarantee its work, financial position or performance.

5. Responsibilities of listing providers

If you upload a listing, business profile, image or document, you must:

  • Have authority to publish it and offer the relevant property or service.
  • Provide accurate information that is not false or misleading.
  • Clearly disclose material conditions, exclusions and qualifications.
  • Keep prices, availability and other important details current.
  • Promptly update or remove properties that are sold, withdrawn or unavailable.
  • Hold any licences and approvals required for your activities.
  • Have permission to use the photographs, plans, logos and other material you submit.
  • Comply with applicable advertising, consumer protection and privacy laws.

These responsibilities also apply to information uploaded through spreadsheets, bulk imports or connected services. Automated updates may be delayed or fail, so you must check that your published listings remain accurate.

6. Enquiries and personal information

When you submit a property enquiry, your contact details and message will be provided to the business responsible for that listing so it can respond.

Listing providers must use enquiry information to respond to the enquiry and for other purposes only where lawfully permitted. Receiving an enquiry does not give unrestricted permission to add someone to unrelated marketing lists or share their details.

Our Privacy Policy explains how BuyerCentre handles personal information.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use BuyerCentre to:

  • Publish false, misleading, unlawful or infringing content.
  • Impersonate another person or business.
  • Submit spam, fraudulent enquiries or abusive messages.
  • Collect personal information without authority.
  • Access another user’s account or restricted information.
  • Upload harmful software or interfere with website security.
  • Copy or extract substantial parts of the listing database without our written permission.

8. Content ownership

You retain ownership of content you upload.

You give BuyerCentre a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, format and display that content as needed to operate the platform and make your listings or profiles available through it.

This permission ends when the content is removed, except for reasonable backup retention, legal requirements and copies previously shared through normal platform use.

BuyerCentre’s branding, website design and original content belong to us or our licensors. You may view and download material made available for that purpose, but must not republish or commercially reuse it without permission from the relevant owner.

9. Fees and paid services

If we offer paid services, we will explain the price, inclusions, payment terms and any renewal or cancellation conditions before you agree to purchase.

We will not charge you for a paid service without your agreement. Any refund rights under Australian Consumer Law remain available.

10. Website availability and external services

We take reasonable steps to keep BuyerCentre operating reliably, but access may sometimes be interrupted by maintenance, technical faults or events outside our control.

External websites and connected services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control their content or availability.

11. Removing content or restricting access

We may remove content or restrict an account where we reasonably believe there is a breach of these terms, unlawful activity, a security risk or a risk of harm to other users.

Where practical, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to correct the issue. Immediate action may be necessary for urgent security, fraud or legal concerns.

You can contact us if you believe an action was taken in error. We will review the circumstances and respond.

12. Liability and consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under Australian Consumer Law.

We do not promise that listings will produce enquiries, that enquiries will result in sales, or that a property will achieve a particular investment outcome.

Each property provider remains responsible for its representations, services and contractual obligations. This does not exclude any responsibility BuyerCentre has under applicable law for its own conduct or services.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the platform, our services or legal requirements.

We will publish the updated version with its effective date and give account holders reasonable advance notice of material changes. Urgent legal or security changes may take effect sooner.

Changes will not retrospectively alter an existing paid agreement without your consent. If you do not accept a material change, you may stop using the service and close your account. Any existing contractual or statutory rights remain unaffected.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria.

The courts of that state or territory have non-exclusive jurisdiction. This does not limit any right you may have under applicable law to bring a claim elsewhere.

15. Contact and complaints

For questions about these terms, account issues or complaints, contact:

Email: support@buyercentre.com.au

Please provide enough detail for us to review the issue. We will investigate and aim to respond within 30 days. This process does not prevent you from exercising your legal rights.
